It's Wedding Season!!!
Great Day! It's already June! Ok Brides have I got some news on how to save save save!! First let me tell you, if you can find one source that can do it all and has it all go for it. Take your time to find out what all your vendor company can do for you. For instance, I work for a catering company now. My planning services are tagged into our wedding packages along with wedding cake, DJ's, Food, and Fruit Carving. That's just a scratch on the surface. Shopping around Brides can waste time and money. Narrow your choices to a few well-known places then set up a meeting to tour the possible vendor or venue. What to look for... Are they friendly? Are they concerned with your event? Are they helping you save money? Over all the major question... is it simple or un-needed stress? Have a list of questions when you call to set your meeting. Three things you will need for your meeting... Budget... Date...Party responsible for paying. Always try to take whoever might be paying for your wedding. This way no one is left in the cold about details.

Now's the time! No not time for planning next year's goal weight, but planning for your very special day! There is so much that takes place when planning a wedding that time flys fast. The sooner you start planning the better! Why should you start planning now, when you have so many holidays approaching? Vendors and locations that have caught your eye is also being looked at by other Brides or Businesses. The last thing you need to come up when planning a wedding or event is losing your top choice location. Also, florist and food service are booked for months in advanced. Talking with these vendors ahead of time allows you to schedule them for your event. Right now is the time to also be talking with your Wedding Planner letting them know your ideas for your wedding. This allows your Planner to create a budget to follow during the next phase of planning, which is vendor deposits, monthly payments, and final payments.

Decisions...Decisions! Every detail comes with a decision. As the Bride and Groom get closer to their wedding day making a decision can become and overwhelming task. What's the easiest way to make a decision, here's some advice. Take ideas that stand out to you and put them together on paper. Show your ideas to your vendor of choice and ask them to create three options for you and your planner to look over. This way your not stuck trying to explain one certain center piece that you have in mind. Making choices ahead of time helps your planner know what step to take next and also helps the vendor know what supplies they will need for your wedding day. Although some vendors will be thinking about what the guest will like this is your day. Make sure in your final meetings that you are totally satisfied with the decision you have made. This will ensure that your wedding day will be as special as you expect.

You are ready to tackle your planning, but wait you have no idea about what vendors are located in your area. A great way to discover all vendors are Bridal Shows! Yes, there is a small fee at the door of Bridal Shows, but you have a chance to discover all vendors from catering to DJs. Most of your reception venues set up booths with samples of food, drinks, and cake. Also, some Wedding and Event Planners charge for consultations, this gives you a chance to talk to Wedding Planners for free. Who couldn't use free information on a budget? Take a bag, paper, and pen with you to collect give-a-ways, business names, and services that are discussed. Have fun and enjoy your girl time, but remember you are looking for the best vendors for your dream wedding!
*Guys note* Guys you are asked to go with your Bride to these shows and thats OK! The Bridal Show host business will have a room set up for guys to get something to eat, drink, and watch the "Big Game". It's not so bad guys!

I was reading an artical this afternoon and to my surprise I couldn't say a word after finishing it. This artical was suppose to help brides who didn't have much of a budget and didn't really know where to start their planning. The artical stated that Brides could begin on Google to look for planning advice and ways to save money. Ok, the internet can be helpful for planning a wedding, but a word of advice, don't just go with what you read on the internet. Finding information about a local vendor can be mis-leading and end up costing you in the long run with a do-it-yourself task. Also, I was asked should I buy a Bridal gown over the internet. Answer: NO. You have to try on the dress, fit it, feel it, and love it. Another draw back to buying a bridal gown on the internet is that most bridal shops will not alter any wedding dresses not bought from their store. This can develop problems and money lost. In this artical the writer was promoting a used wedding gown site online. Brides let me inform you, yes you Could save money, Yes, you could save time from trying on gown after gown, BUT this is your day to look beautiful in a dress just for you. Let your planner save you money on other wedding material items, this way you can look stunning in a dress made to fit your style. Sample sales are a great way to start and right now many large bridal shops are having a huge bridal gown sale. Dresses that normaly would be out of budget just might now be in your budget! Call up your mom, friends, and planner to get your dress shopping started!

Wow! We had such a great turn out yesterday at our Bridal Show booth and want to give everyone a BIG thanks! Though I got to talk and meet with lots of lovely ladies I couldn't help but keep running ideas through my head. I heard several times yesterday that everyone loved our chairs and if you didn't get to see them we have pictures up of our booth. The more I talked to ladies the more I heard about prices. Ladies I am here to tell you, You too can have great prices! Come talk to me! There were ladies who didn't have any idea what they wanted to do and that's great! This allows a planner to come in and take what you and your soon to be husband love and mix them with colors. Stress should not be a part of life your life. Also, I heard several times that most of you have planners that are family. I think family is one of the most important part of someone's life, but the last thing you want to do is start to disagree. We are here to help with any planning that is needed and check out our Wedding Weekend services. Be sure to send us a comment about our booth!

One of the most critical parts of picking your date is season. Weather plays a huge factor on deciding to have an outdoor wedding or make plans to have a back up location. During the summer brides love to have outdoor weddings, one thing brides forget about is the heat and humidity. Heat can melt make-up, cause grooms to sweat and pass out, and guest to not attend. Humidity can play a big factor on flowers and hair. Consider where you live and where your site is located. Fall can bring storms and cold fronts unexpectedly. Weather.com offers a Wedding wheather planner on their site to let you know ahead of time what to expect for your wedding location. Carefully consider making plans and always have a back up plan to ensure a perfect wedding day.
As Always, Happy Planning!
